EPR has a long working relationship with the North Carolina Department of Transportation to design and implement projects that mitigate development and benefit the environment. The Beane Wetland Mitigation project is an example of why EPR is in the restoration business.

EPR worked with the client to arrive at nature-based solutions to improve the quality of the project area by restoring and enhancing the hydrology and ecosystems that have been altered over the last century. Our team provided a full range of services, including wetland delineation and mitigation planning and design, erosion control and vegetation plans, agency coordination, construction oversight, as well as vegetation and hydrologic monitoring.

Restoring functional wetlands and native plant communities to the site will provide a wide range of ecosystem benefits, including water quality, aquatic habitat, and species diversity.
